The short version

We collect what the store needs to work: an account, what you bought, and what you downloaded. We don’t sell any of it, we don’t run advertising trackers, and your card details never touch our servers.

What we hold

  • Your name and email address, and your password stored only as a one-way hash — we cannot read it.
  • Your orders: what you bought, when, and what it cost.
  • Your membership, if you have one, and when it renews.
  • A record of each file you download — which file, when, and whether it came from a purchase or a membership. It is what keeps a plan's download allowance honest.
  • Your favorites and whatever is in your cart.
  • Sign-in sessions, including the browser each was created from, so you can be signed out and a stolen session can be revoked.
  • Your email address if you subscribe to the newsletter, and the date you subscribed.

Payments

Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we keep only the customer reference Stripe gives us, so your purchases and membership can be matched to your account. Stripe has its own privacy policy covering what it holds.

Cookies

Two, both of which the site needs to function:

  • A sign-in cookie, so you stay signed in between pages. It holds a random token, not your details.
  • A cart cookie, so a cart you build before signing in isn't lost when you do.

There are no advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing here is shared with an ad network.

Who else sees it

Only the services it takes to run the store: our hosting provider, and Stripe for payments. We will hand over information if the law actually requires it. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.

How long we keep it

Your account and library stay until you ask us to delete them. Order records are kept longer where accounting and tax rules require it. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from the newsletter from any email we send, or by asking us.
  • Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your account. Anything we have to keep for accounting stays, and deleting the account ends access to your library.

All of those go to hello@example.com.

Children

The store is meant for parents and teachers. Accounts are for adults; we don’t knowingly collect anything from a child. If you think a child has created an account, email us and we will remove it.
